My biography

Born in 1997 in Olsztyn and currently based in Warsaw. Ever since my family owned a computer I had an interest in programming and DIY. Fuelled by my love for video games, even as a kid I was trying my strength at C++ and HTML both of which gave me little to no trouble. I created text-based RPG games and tried my strength at Final Fantasy clones. Because I wanted to use my love for DIY and get into dental school I had to temporarily put my hobbies on hold in order to focus on learning biology and chemistry.

Five years spent on obtaining my degree in Dentistry were one of the most difficult but rewarding in my life. That is also when I started actively dedicating my time between tests and exams to learning Python and further developing my skills as a programmer. In July 2022 I graduated from the Medical University of Warsaw with the idea of combining my degree with the coding passion.

Right before the beginning of my internship I started investing my time in multiple coding courses, each buliding on previous ones. After improving my Python for about three more months I decided on paying additional focus to machine learning, deep neural networks and AI in general. That is what I currently do but I am open to new experiences and challenges.

My strengths

If I was asked to describe myself I would begin with my highly motivated attitude. I am always attempting to be better at what I am doing and I am eager to learn new skills. This is how my love for coding started and how I keep on finding new and interesting subjects to learn - both in professional and everyday life. My DIY skills always expand on such basis - I find something new and I make sure to at the very least try it and see if I can expand on it.

I do not quit easily - if any complications arise I focus on finding the best solution no matter if they occur during dental treatment or working on Python code. In case I am met with a problem which I have never tackled before I make sure to sit down, focus on it and find the solution as quickly as I can to improve myself for the future.

Although I mostly treat patients without any assistance and the projects I come up with are done by myself alone I am a team oriented person. I am open to advices and suggestions from people more experienced than me and if I can help one of my coworkers I always make sure to be of as much service as they need.

I welcome criticism with an open mind, since I take it as a hint for future improvement. I believe that constructive criticism is a necessary tool that allows any person to increase the quality of their work. Since my third year of dentistry I worked in a master-student type of arrangement with my teachers and without this I would not be able to expand my skills as a dentist.

I am a happy person with an optimistic outlook on everyday life, but if the situation requires it I can act as professionally as it is necessary. I am open and eager to share my interests with others and I attempt to keep my work place a friendly, stress-free environment.
